It was a relaxing night sleeping on such a warm floor (it was even too hot sometimes). We went up the hill to see the pavilion we saw lit up last night. The hill was just behind our accommodation. There were two pavilions - Omokdae and Imokdae - and the village view from above.

Breakfast was traditional Korean style; simple but delicious. We ate at the same time as other Korean guests. No foreigners so far!
There was lots to see in Jeonju, e.g. Pungnammun Gate, Gyeonggijeon, Omokdae. Inside the old village were art & cultural centers, e.g. Soya Sauce Making, Oriental Medicine Center, Traditional Wine Museum, Traditional Craftworks Exhibition Hall. Perhaps many centers had no live show because the tourist season was just starting. We had plenty to see anyway.
It was Saturday, so there were street sellers. Thus, we were snaking up here and there, for example herbal drinks, rice wine, and the most interesting one was deep fried ginseng!
Our lunch was recommended by the tourist office and Yang Sa Jae's owner. If we didn't miscount, Hanjeongsik at Songjeonwon restaurant served with 28 side-dishes! Yeah, we couldn't move afterwards. Thanks to the tourist office staff who reserved the table for us. Otherwise, we might have missed this experience. The restaurant serves two persons at minimum. You know why!
Our generous host at Yang Sa Jae offered to give us a ride to the bus terminal. The bus to Daegu was very comfy; big reclining seats, BUT... we couldn't sleep!!!! Why? Few minutes after the bus had left the station, Alex asked "Where is the guide book?" Me: "Didn't you take it from the seat?" Yep! Gone with the wind! Without the guidebook, we would be like two blinds watching a film. It was very important for the trip. Now was the time to plan our recovery.
Usually, Alex had the book glued to his hand. While we waited for the bus, he went to toilet and left the book on a chair next to me. I went to ask the bus driver about the bus duration to Daegu. At the same moment, Alex came back and was right behind me and ready to get on the bus. Normally, we always look back to see whether we left anything behind, but this time it was our bad luck!"Perhaps the book knew that we complained so much about it?"

The motel we found was near the bus terminal. After checking a few of them, we picked one that suited our budget. The lunch was still trying to get thoroughly digested, so we didn't need any real dinner.
We walked around a bit after checking in but not for very long. Needed to get up early the next day and we did not come to see Daegu anyway.
